And for your surprise, the answer is India. Yes the exact centre of earth lies in India, at Chidambaram and for more surprise, lies exactly at the tip, where lord Nataraja’s toe finger points. It can be said like, the earth rotates at the tip of lord Nataraja’s toe. It’s a biggest pride for our country, and for our Tamil, Isn’t? Its amazing how our ancestors calculated the exact centre long before and placed lord’s statue where it should be.

hi, am thinking as if the center points shifts, accordingly,is that so . As the equator just lies below India, how come the centre point be a part of india. Am not a geographical viewer,but am not sure ,but the earth is sphere which inner point is located involves solid iron core, am i correct ?
